Community Engagement

01
Manual Scavengers
I started this project not only out of a commitment to environmental sustainability but also from a deep concern for the people who play a vital role in creating cleaner surroundings. While our focus has been on valuing and repurposing waste, I wanted to shift some attention to those working behind the scenes—particularly sewage workers—whose efforts often go unrecognized. I am dedicated to their welfare, leading initiatives to distribute safety kits and conduct awareness drives that educate and empower these underserved communities. To better support them, I’ve also conducted research to deepen my understanding of the challenges they face, with the aim of driving long-term, meaningful change.
02
Trash to treasure
I took over Trash to Treasure to carry forward the meaningful initiative started by my senior. Believing deeply in its purpose and potential, I stepped in as Chief Executive Officer to ensure it didn’t fade away, but instead evolved and grew. Trash to Treasure is a community-driven initiative focused on raising awareness about proper waste disposal and transforming waste into valuable resources. In my role, I lead a passionate team in organizing impactful campaigns, events, and projects that promote environmental responsibility and inspire people to rethink what they throw away. I'm committed to building a more sustainable future by making conscious consumption and innovative waste solutions more accessible, practical, and engaging for everyone.

03
Eco-Engineered
As I became more involved with the community, I was inspired to start a podcast to engage with changemakers who are turning bold ideas into sustainable solutions and making a real difference for the planet. Through these conversations, I gained a deeper awareness of often-overlooked issues in our world—sparking a renewed drive in me to take meaningful action where it’s needed most.
04
Project WAVE
I joined WAVE as their head of external affairs. I planned and executed drives, campaigns and handled the overall logistics. The aim of the project was to promote sustainable development at the intersection of agricultural productivity, water resource management, and environmental conservation.
